EXPI Plus is founded by Dr. Marigold Kimura, an internationally award-winning researcher on customer experience and its co-creation (with key customers and stakeholders), within the real estate environment. In addition to a stellar research track record, Marigold brings more than 15 years' industry experience with global advertising & media agencies, renowned hospitality brands, Big 4 consulting firms, and large real estate corporations.

In leading EXPI Plus, Marigold is being mentored by Peter Holland and Rei Kimura, highly respected industry veterans in retail, hospitality and mixed-use property economics, and media & publishing.

Dr. Marigold Kimura

Founder

Marigold is an internationally award-winning researcher on customer experience (CX) and its co-creation (with key customers and stakeholders), within the real estate environment.

In 2019, Marigold was awarded a prestigious PhD research scholarship by the Australian Government & University of Melbourne to investigate customer experience (CX) within the real estate environment, and its evolution through the global Covid-19 pandemic. Her research achievements include being awarded 'Best Corporate Real Estate Research' by the American Real Estate Society and playing a key role in significant Australian Research Council (ARC) projects investigating customer experience and sustainability for the real estate industry.

Besides her solid research track record, Marigold has more than 15 years' industry experience across global branding agencies, hospitality brands, Big 4 consulting firms, and large real estate corporations.

Peter Holland

Mentor

Peter is a highly respected consultant in Retail, Hospitality & Mixed-use Property Economics.

Whilst most of his work involves market and financial analysis, his original training as an architect has provided him with a very good understanding of the built environment.

Peter’s work has also involved market research and mixed-use precinct strategy development for renowned developers, institutional real estate owners, retailers, retail malls, leisure & tourism destinations across Singapore, Australia, the broader APAC region, and globally.

Over more than 40 years, Peter has worked extensively on large complex projects worldwide, which has provided him with expansive exposure to complex strategic environments and global innovation.

Peter is a regular contributor, speaker and panel member at global conferences on urban development and real estate.

Rei Kimura

Mentor

Rei is a real estate lawyer and a qualified freelance journalist associated with the United States Press Agency.

Specialising in real estate, Rei has served as in-house counsel, advising on real estate-related transactions, contracts, and disputes resolution.

As a published author, Rei's books have been translated into various Asian and European languages, and are widely read all over the world. Besides being distributed by international retailers, Rei's books are also available at university & public libraries across Asia, United States, Europe and Australia.

Notable highlights in Rei's writing career include being nominated for a prestigious international award at the Frankfurt Book Fair and media interviews by major news outlets including BBC.

Currently based in Tokyo, Rei also travels extensively between Singapore and Australia.
